FC Fassell has talents

Liberia born Nigerian Russian club CSKA Moscow potent forward Sekou Jabateh Oliseh is now the new crowd favorite in Monrovia as he woos and rocks fans with his lightening pace, mesmerizing skills, and neat finishing.

The former Mytland striker, who has an All- Star squad comprising his peers mainly from the Bushrod Island community, has been in red hot form in the country’s capital Monrovia. Also, he has managed to star for the Liberia Football Players Union (LIFPU) All-Star squad, and one scrumptious performance was against newly promoted second division side FC Fassell. The player, who came into the fray later on in the first half, saw his side in the lead by a solitary goal, courtesy of a glorious strike from Invincible Eleven Captain Joseph Kelle Hina.

FC FASSELL SET TO SHAPE LIBERIA'S SOCCER  INDUSTRY
But, unappeased with the slender lead, the former Gedi and Sons attacking ace did a little magic as he rounded off the entire FC Fassell defense to play the ball in an unguarded net to end the match 2-0. He also did a wonder trick against the Players Union when his selected All-Star took on the LIFPU All-Star. Jabateh is always mobbed by the crowd. At the Tusa sports pitch in Gardnersville where the LIFPU All-Star drubbed FC Fassell, the spectators fought each other to take the player’s shirt off him to be used as a souvenir.

One other fan said “I only need one foot of his boot to put on my bed head”, another one said “I just want to stand by him”, the player is the new celebrated star in town and much of such ecstasy is expected this Sunday at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium (ATS) when the UEFA champions league campaigner (the first Liberian to play in the UEFA champions league in more than 12 years) feature for the Professional All- Star against the Local All-Star.
